Current Legislation
Telehealth (Federal)
HR 6202: Would remove telehealth geographic and originating site restrictions permanently while extending other public health emergency (PHE) telehealth waiver provisions for 2 years after the formal end of the PHE. (Introduced in the House 12/09/21)
Medicaid expansion (State)
HJR 92: (Beginning 2 July 1, 2021) individuals nineteen years of age or older and under sixty-five years of age who qualify for MO HealthNet services and who have income at or below 135% of the federal poverty level plus 5% of the applicable family size shall be eligible for medical assistance under MO HealthNet and shall receive coverage for the health benefits service package (Public Hearing Completed 03/01/22)
SB 1021: MO Healthnet division will define the reasonable costs, manner, extent, quantity, quality, charges and fees of MO HealthNet benefits. (Second Read and Referred to Appropriations Committee 03/01/22)
HB 2368: October 1, 2022, MO HealthNet beneficiaries shall be eligible to receive coverage for health home services for children with medically complex conditions (Referred to Rules: Administrative Oversight 02/28/22)
HJR 117: In any given fiscal year, any eligible population for HealthNet services shall be eligible only if an appropriation for that population is made in that fiscal year. Further, in any given fiscal year, any service or type of provider for which reimbursement is allowed shall be eligible for reimbursement only if an appropriation for that service or type of provider is made for that fiscal year.
